R&D Department of DKY Valves has developed the most multifunctional compact Hydrant i.e. “HSH-i Hydrant” developed ever. The main motivation that guides R&D Department of DKY Valves to such success is the criteria of European Standards “Consumed water is to be measured precisely”.

New Generation Hydraulic Irrigation Hydrant i.e. HSH-i  Hydrant designed for distribution and measurement of water in medium and high pressurized networks.

Advantages of Ultrasonic Measurement in Irrigation :

ADVANTAGES

HSH-i Hydrants are not affected from dirt, residue, moss and various craps. Because:
  • Their working principle is the transmission of sound waves,
  • There is no kind of mechanism and part like propeller that can be clogged or worn.
HSH-i Hydrant is the most multifunctional compact product developed ever:
  • Operates as valve,
  • Supplies the distribution of water to several lines,
  • Adjusts pressure,
  • Limits flow,
  • Delimits and facilitates the water with its equipped integral and watermeter.
HSH-i Hydrant is a base for the Electronic Irrigation Automation
  • On/off operation is realized by the orientation of water pressure to the hydraulic valve diaphragm on each outlet with the help of mini ball valves equipped.
  • Pressure regulation is controlled by regulator, it is pre-adjusted. However, If requested the hydrants can be adjusted to given outlet pressure during manufacturing. The adjusted pressure is constant independent from the flow and tolerance is +20%. Standard outlet pressure is 3.5 atm (PAC).
  • Flow limiter controls the flow limit with its dynamic pressure sensitive component. It is assembled on the Hydrant integrally, so it does not permit User’s intervention to the dewatering part of Hydrant. Flow limiter cause very low pressure loss for the water flow in required limit, however, it does not permit water flow above the required limit even If the demanded water flow exceeds nominal value. Flow limiters are manufactured with 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 lt / sec nominal value.
  • The anti-frost apparatus is the standard part of the system that prevents from freezing. When the Hydrant entrance service valve is in open position anti-frost assembled to the body is closed automatically. When the Hydrant is closed, anti-frost is opened and the water remaining in the body is discharged. Hence, the harm to the body of Hydrant that can arise with the expansion of the residual water while freezing is prevented. This is critically important especially for the cold regions, on no-use seasons.
  • The quantity of consumed water on the outlet of each outlet is measured by integral watermeter of HSH-i Hydrant. HSH-i Hydrant is awarded by TS EN 14267 + AC:2009 Certificate which is conform to New European Standards.
  • HSH-i Hydrant gives oppertunity to the Irrigation Associations for observing and limiting the water consumption of each farmer seperately with prepaid card option.
  • HSH-i Hydrant can be controlled remotely easily. The optional solenoid control addition can be activated by cable or with Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and hydrant can be included in the Irrigation automation, SCADA system for the network.
